Meet MediaBrains' Executive Management
Joe Buckheit, President & CEO
Joe Buckheit founded MediaBrains in 1997. Prior to incubating MediaBrains, Buckheit was a systems officer at Citicorp, New York City and his responsibilities included designing and implementing applications for the collection and dissemination of business data to meet the individual needs of Citicorp units in over 90 countries. Before Citicorp, Buckheit developed his skills as a programmer and analyst serving the financial industry where he created client server applications to automate stock loan and borrow activities for firms including Cowen and Co., Kidder Peabody, JP Morgan, Raymond James and Shearson Lehman. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Syracuse University.
Suzanne Talmont, Chief Financial Officer
Suzanne Talmont has served as Chief Financial Officer of MediaBrains since April 1999. Prior to joining MediaBrains, Talmont served as vice president and chief operating officer for SRA Technology Training, a division of Thomson Publishing, where she oversaw all finance, strategic planning and information systems. Talmont has also held senior management positions with Westinghouse Broadcasting Company and Kemper Financial Services. Talmont holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from the University of South Florida.
Gina Paddock, Vice President, Sales
Gina Paddock has responsibility for all advertising sales revenue as well as expanding relationships with publishers. Previously, Paddock was named Vice President, Client Services and since joining MediaBrains in 2000, she has also been a Senior Account Executive and Client Trainer. Prior to joining MediaBrains, Paddock was the Director of Education at New Horizons Denver, where she oversaw all sales and marketing operations, managed a team of account executives, and developed corporate alliances with Microsoft, Oracle, Novell and Sallie Mae Foundation. Paddock has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education from the University of South Florida.
Jim Murchison, Vice President of Technology
Jim Murchison oversees the technological aspects of MediaBrains including Software Development and Database Administration. His focus is to provide the highest quality solutions to MediaBrains and it's clients. Jim has been with MediaBrains since 1997 and was a Technology Solutions Consultant and Senior Software Engineer prior to his current role. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Florida State University and is a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer.
Rebecca Percell, Vice President, Product Development
As Vice President of Product Development, Rebecca Percell has responsibility for overseeing the overall product design, implementation, testing and support of MediaBrains products and services. With MediaBrains since 2000, she has been instrumental in successfully integrating prior acquisitions into the company. Her work as a Project Manager and Business Analyst has given her a keen understanding of MediaBrains internal and external clients’ needs, and has prepared her well for her current role. Prior to joining MediaBrains, Percell worked as a Packaging Engineer for Tyco Electronics (formerly AMP Incorporated). She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Packaging Engineering from Michigan State University.
